THE TRUTH ABOUT MY JOURNEY

My story did not start with courage

It started with aspirations and promise, but was quickly followed by pain, confusion, despair, grief and resentment.

Moving to the UK and deciding to start a family afterwards, I faced numerous health and emotional struggles and noticed massive inclusion gaps. Just as I was about to be made the CFO of the bank where I worked, I resigned.

Through all of these, I called on COURAGE and continued building with INCLUSION in mind. I knew I could be better, so I decided to keep learning and started a PhD . . .not in finance but in Education.

Then again, everything that I thought had meaning in life started to fall apart. My mental health nose-dived. Grief and shame resurfaced. I wanted to give up but .  .  .

COURAGE SAVED ME, AGAIN.

My journey, has taught me that:  Transforming systems starts with leading oneself and others with courage, inner alignment, principled action and human connection.

My Mission

To empower leaders and changemakers, especially women to make courageous, values-aligned and inclusive decisions that will transform their lives, organisations and communities.

Beyond the titles, achievements and accolades

You will find me reflecting, creating stories, and spending time with the people that help me find joy and meaning in life – MY FAMILY
